Hello, 2015. It's that time to reflect on the days behind us and dream a little dream for the year ahead. Looking back, 2014 was one for the books. We left our day jobs to take a chance on a crazy idea. We swam in Africa's crater lakes and watched the sun rise over Peru's mountains. We racked up airline miles and gained skill sets we never thought we'd need (knowing which berries to use for the best natural dyes - anyone?). Most importantly, we started building something we're very proud of. We've already helped provide employment and fair trade working conditions to over 200 artisans across 3 countries, and we can't wait to make 2015 even better!

Be Brave. Take Chances & Remember Why You Started.

Here’s why. This past year hasn’t exactly been a cakewalk. What they say is true: the highs are high and the lows are low and in startups, those usually happen in the same hour! We’ve had to cling tightly to our convictions about why we started The Citizenry and were surprised to find a resilience and persistence we didn’t know we had. With a new year ahead, we’re resolving to remember and learn from those moments.

We're so grateful you decided to join us on this journey.  Thank you for supporting us as we live our dream. Together, we've already made more impact than we ever thought possible. To all that was 2014; and all of the wondrous could-be's of 2015! To crazy risks, epic adventures, and big dreams. Bring it on, 2015!

xoxo
