We covered some serious ground on our trek through Morocco – 1,850 miles, to be exact. From the bustling medinas of Marrakech to the pristine beaches of Tangier, with every place we visited, we fell more and more in love with this incredible country.

 

It’s here you’ll find a rich legacy of weaving. With every village we visited, we learned about a new weaving tradition - some cooperatives have mastered the art of pile-knot Beni Ourain rugs, while others specialize in hand-loomed kilim textiles. We even had the chance to meet with one of the last groups of weavers still working to preserve the ancient art of wedding blankets.

 

Needless to say, the High Atlas made quite an impression on us. We're excited to share a bit of the magic of this place with you.
