Parthiv Chunky Jute Rug
Textured, soft, and perfect for layering, this hand-braided jute rug is a must for every home. Jute is a perfect foundation for spaces large and small, and provides an anchor for patterned rugs when layered (one of our very favorite looks). Meticulously woven entirely by hand, this masterpiece is classic and durable – and simply stunning.
Each rug is handwoven by 14 master artisans in Bhadohi, India. From start-to-finish, it takes five days to complete, all made in a fair trade environment.
We recommend using a rug pad to reduce slippage.

All our rugs are made from the finest natural materials. Following these suggestions will ensure your rugs can be treasured for a lifetime.
Basic care:
Vacuum rugs lightly and avoid direct and prolonged sunlight exposure.
Treating stains:
If the stain was caused by liquid, act quickly to prevent from drying – use paper towels to absorb.
When in doubt, professional dry cleaning is always going to be your best bet. If you do decide to take matters into your own hands, a few tips for you:
- For wine, coffee, or tea, apply a solution of warm water, detergent and white vinegar with a damp sponge. Wipe with clean cloth and let dry.
- For oil, chocolate, lipstick, nail polish, or ink, scrub or scrape the stained area first. Then apply a solution of hot water and detergent with a clean cloth to absorb as much of the stain as possible. If required, leave the wet cloth overnight before wiping with a clean cloth to dry.

United StatesProduct is well made and looks nice. It's soft for a jute rug, which I'm very happy about. I feel like it is a good price for the quality of what you get. I would buy it again.
United StatesThis rug was well made and very comfortable to walk on. Unfortunately the color was more yellow than I anticipated, and the fibers had a shine to them that made the rug look less natural than I would have liked (this might fade over time). Not a good fit for my home, but maybe it will be for yours.

We love it more than we expected.
