Designed in a muted, mix-and-match palette and finished with eyelet detailing, each piece is stonewashed to give you the softest feel you’ll ever touch (no, really).

Made with higher standards. We preserve artisan craft by paying wages that average 2x the fair trade requirement.
Our linen is machine washable. Wash on the gentle cycle with like colors and using a mild, liquid laundry detergent. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low heat, and remove promptly. Avoid bleaching agents and personal care products that contain benzoyl peroxide or alpha hydroxy acids.
Since linen is a natural fiber, it will shed at first – this should stop after a few washes though. We recommend using Wool Dryer Balls instead of dryer sheets to reduce waste and increase fluffiness.
Linen naturally has a more relaxed look that does not require ironing. However, if you would like more structure - iron with warm heat on the milder “linen” setting.

United StatesThis is my second set, after purchasing my first set I knew I needed a second. These are the most amazing sheets! at least once a week when i snuggle into my bed , i kinda sigh and whisper “I love my sheets”. The weight of linen is on the light to medium side, heavy enough to be sturdy and in my opinion light enough to use year round. I don't like anything scratchy and out of the package they are soft and after washing , just perfect. The color depicted on site is accurate. I’ll use these year round.
United StatesI’ve gone fully linen on my bedding between my sheets and duvet cover and cannot recommend more. These sheets are amazing - I was waking up hot every night and was not sleeping well with my old sheets. This sheet set has significantly improved my sleep, and I just ordered a second set. I love the texture of them, and they hold up great with two mini labradoodles in bed with us, too!
United StatesI had purchased Citizenry stonewashed linen sheets for my son and he was very happy with the quality of them and the warmth they provided. He recently got a new apartment and I thought I’d get him some more linen sheets. I was receiving a lot of ads for a competitor’s comparably priced linen sheet sets and thought I’d give them a try. Big Mistake! Right out of the packaging the feel was different. The sheets were no where near as thick as your product, nor did they feel as soft. I washed them and ironed them but was underwhelmed. My son complained that the pillow was consistently slipping out of the pillowcase and they weren’t very warm. To make a long story short, I returned the sheets and reordered two sets of sheets for him from Citizenry. Thanks for making such a great product. I’m a believer!
