Adra Wool Accent Rug
Modern monochrome meets luxurious texture in this handwoven wool rug. Made using the finest quality sheep’s wool, this rug is durable, subtly stunning, and makes itself at home anywhere you style it (read: anywhere you want to up the cozy factor).
Each rug is handwoven by 14 master artisans in Bhadohi, India. From start-to-finish, it takes five days to complete, all made in a fair trade environment.
We recommend using a rug pad to reduce wrinkles and slippage.
Note: To make the 2’x3’ or 3’x5’ rug a wall hanging, add our custom maple wood wall hanger.

Our rugs are handcrafted to last a lifetime, made using the highest quality natural fibers – no synthetic materials like viscose, rayon, or polyester are used.
Basic care:
Because each rug is handcrafted with only natural materials and hand-trimmed to the desired pile height, it is normal to see loose fibers or shedding in the first six months.
Vacuum lightly at least once a week using only low suction and no beater brush, as this may damage the rug. More frequent vacuuming will help prevent shedding.
Avoid placing rugs in prolonged direct sunlight as this can cause fading.
Rotate your rug every 3-6 months. This will help prevent excessive wear and fading in one area.
The use of a rug pad will keep your rug lying smooth and flat and will help prevent slippage.
Treating stains:
Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth - act quickly to prevent drying. Avoid harsh chemicals and household cleaners as they may damage or fade the rug. When in doubt, professional cleaning is always best.

I bought this accent rug in a 2x3 for next to my bed. The rug is absolutely gorgeous, but the color is too dark tan for my space. Someone in an earlier review mentioned the shade compared to a dark Northeastern beach sand rather than a Caribbean light sand beach. I agree completely. The rug itself though is beautiful and the raised pile is very soft and plush and I love the pattern! I’m very bummed it’s too dark for my space, because I want to put my feet on it every morning. Very sadly I need to return. Still gets a 5 star for pure quality!! I added a photo of the rug in pure daylight surrounded by a few pillows that I also got from The Citizenry… I’m hoping this will help other see the contrast of the color.

The look and feel is good but the midnight color can show a lot of dirt. The size is good for a room but I wanted something for a bathroom , more runner and this didn’t serve me.
