Featuring intricate Indian motifs in a soft grey palette, this area rug is the ideal foundation for your space. Meticulously handwoven from the highest quality sheep’s wool, a material known for its durability, this beauty is made to withstand it all.
Each rug is handwoven by 14 master artisans in Bhadohi, India. From start-to-finish, it takes 5 days to complete, all made in a fair trade environment.
We recommend using a rug pad to reduce wrinkles and slippage.

Our rugs are handcrafted to last a lifetime, made using the highest quality natural fibers – no synthetic materials like viscose, rayon, or polyester are used.
Basic care:
Because each rug is handcrafted with only natural materials, it is normal to see loose fibers or shedding in the first six months.
Vacuum lightly at least once a week using only low suction and no beater brush, as this may damage the rug. More frequent vacuuming will help prevent shedding.
Avoid placing rugs in prolonged direct sunlight as this can cause fading.
Rotate your rug every 3-6 months. This will help prevent excessive wear and fading in one area.
The use of a rug pad will keep your rug lying smooth and flat and will help prevent slippage.
Treating stains:
Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth - act quickly to prevent drying. Avoid harsh chemicals and household cleaners as they may damage or fade the rug. When in doubt, professional cleaning is always best.

I ordered this rug to pull together our dining area consisting of a Saarinen table and Wegener chairs, and it is a perfect fit! On a slightly different note, our dogs absolutely love it! First thing both did when I unpacked it was a happy breakdance and now they love napping on it.

I originally wanted the Sundari rug but it was not available in the size I needed so I chose the Asha. My ordered was delivered quickly even though it was during the holidays. The rug arrived packaged well and laid out nicely. Great quality product, the only problem was the lighter color was too “creamy.” The return process was quick. I received a refund within a week of initiating the return (less the $65.00 return fee which would have been waived if I took a store credit.) Great experience with Citizenry and I would highly recommend them!

It's Gorgeous! Subtle colors but the pattern is stunning. It grounds my small living room, at the same time giving it an airy Southwest feel. I would buy 10 of these if I could.
