Woven in Japan by
Say hello to the most lightweight, absorbent, and soft towels we’ve ever laid eyes on (or hands, or feet, or… you get the idea). For extra durability and absorbency, the waffle weave is intentionally bigger than standard waffle-weave towels. The best part? What starts off as a pristine weave only becomes softer and more relaxed with each wash.
Available in white, grey, and indigo, you’ll want these towels in every corner of your home.
- 1 face towel / washcloth
- 1 hand towel
- 1 bath towel
Each towel is made with long-staple Pima cotton and loomed in the oldest, family-run mill in Imabari that has spent 100 years perfecting the art of towel making. From weaving to dyeing and washing, each step is done in a fair-trade environment.
Face Towel / Washcloth: 14”L x 14”W
Hand Towel: 33”L x 14”W
Bath Towel: 57”L x 31”W
- MATERIALS: 100% Pima cotton (from the US)
- COLOR: Available in white, grey, and indigo
- ORIGIN: Japan
These cotton towels can be machine washed on cold with like colors. Tumble dry on low. Do not bleach.
After washing, the waffle weave will deepen and shrink a bit, developing a more organic character over time. We recommend hanging on a rack instead of hooks – the hooks will stretch out the weave over time.

Minimal and Classic
Love, love, love these towels. We were looking for comfortable towels that dried quickly, especially being in the Bay Area. Once you wash them a few times, they have a beautiful relaxed look to them. We bought one set of every color so we could mix and match in the bathroom. Looks great.
THESE are AMAZING
These are super absorbent and high quality waffle weave towels. How did I ever live without these? They are really soft and much fluffier than other waffle weave towels, yet thin enough to stack many in a small space. The indigo color is beautiful, the towels are an ample size, including the face and wash cloth. Very small amount of shrinkage with washing.
Durable yet Intricate
I'll be the first to admit that in the past I've used budget towels and have been stuck replacing them far too frequently. I've been on the hunt for the perfect set that are soft, absorbent, and don't shed. So happy to say that I've finally found them in a beautiful navy shade that I can tell will last for years.
