Each one is made by a group of talented women in Dimapur, India, who’ve perfected the art of backstrap weaving over centuries. Handwoven from incredibly soft cotton, this pillow takes almost a full day to complete. All made start-to-finish in a fair trade environment.

The design is delicate and the coral, mustard, and navy on cream look beautiful. The weaving work is well done and the pillow is firm and supportive without being too stiff. I’m pleased with this purchase and am happy to support traditional textile artists in India.
