Soft earth tones, combined with geometric designs, this accent rug is a thing of beauty. Handwoven in a flat weave, this piece is certain to liven up any entryway, kitchen, or corner nook.
Crafted using sheep’s wool, this rug is incredibly soft, yet durable - perfect for standing up to with whatever the day-to-day may throw its way.
From start to finish, each one takes a full week to complete, all made by a fair trade cooperative of 14 Zapotec women who live and work in Oaxaca.

Our rugs are handcrafted to last a lifetime, made using the highest quality natural fibers – no synthetic materials like viscose, rayon, or polyester are used.
Basic care:
Because each rug is handcrafted with only natural materials, it is normal to see loose fibers or shedding in the first six months.
Vacuum lightly at least once a week using only low suction and no beater brush, as this may damage the rug. More frequent vacuuming will help prevent shedding.
Avoid placing rugs in prolonged direct sunlight as this can cause fading.
Rotate your rug every 3-6 months. This will help prevent excessive wear and fading in one area.
The use of a rug pad will keep your rug lying smooth and flat and will help prevent slippage.
Treating stains:
Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth - act quickly to prevent drying. Avoid harsh chemicals and household cleaners as they may damage or fade the rug. When in doubt, professional cleaning is always best.

This rug is well made and feels great under your toes. The pink is more of a blush and not too overwhelming which is exactly what I wanted. It's thin enough to fit under a door jam but needs a rug pad to help with slipping.
