ALL BLACK FRIDAY PROFITS WENT TO EDUCATION
BUILD A SCHOOL FOR 400 KIDS AT THE BORDER
HOORAY, WE REACHED OUR GOAL!
100% to Goal
NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE, EDUCATION IS A FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT
While their families wait to seek legal asylum in the U.S., migrant children have no place to learn and play. This year, our Black Friday Fund was devoted to changing this.
EVERY $120 SPENT FUNDED A CHILD’S WEEK OF SCHOOL
All profits went to Yes We Can World Foundation, a non-profit building mobile schools along the border. Together, we are transforming a coach bus into a school and funding six months of operations.
COMING TO CIUDAD JUÁREZ, MEXICO:
A Real-Life Magic School BusShop Now
All Black Friday profits are going towards building a mobile school and funding 6 months of operations, providing teachers, a psychologist, uniforms, and supplies. Students will spend four to twelve weeks there - so the funds we raised will cover 1,680 collective weeks, impacting 400 children.
A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR OUR SMALLEST GLOBAL CITIZENS
Ciudad Juárez is home to thousands of migrants waiting to legally cross into the U.S. Due to a metered waiting list, it takes months for their first asylum review.
Most of the migrant population in Juárez is from cartel-occupied cities in Mexico and Central America. It has also become a destination for those fleeing conflict in places like Cuba and Cameroon.
During this time, migrant children spend their days waiting inside local churches, shelters, and encampments to avoid kidnapping, violence, and other dangers throughout Juárez.
