I anxiously anticipated the restock of these vases. Unfortunately when they arrived the vases I received were gray and not black. Gray was not the look I was going for so I returned them.
Thank you for your note about our vases — we’re so sorry that they arrived looking a bit different than the photos showed. Some variations can occur with handcrafted stoneware, but the level of variation you experienced is definitely out of our comfort zone. We apologize for that, and are triple checking the latest batch from Mexico to ensure they match what is on our site. We’re happy to hear our Client Experience Team has taken care of this for you already. But if there is anything else we can do, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help! Sincerely, The Citizenry Team
I ordered these for my entryway table and they look great! I have already received compliments on them. The craftsmanship is impeccable. My table is a very dark grey stained wood and these vases are actually a little lighter in color than the table. I expected darker, more of a true black which is how I originally viewed the pictures online. Now when looking at the first picture on the website, the smaller vase does show a little lighter. They are a few shades lighter than that in person. The lighter coloring actually worked out even better for me though and I love everything about them!
Carter, Wow! Thank you for such kind words. We couldn’t be more thrilled that our Engobe Vases found their way to what sounds like a stunner of a home (dark grey wood + matte black vases = swoon). Your support means so much, and because of you we get to continue to bring the masterful work of our artisan partners into homes across the world. Thank you a million times over. With gratitude, The Citizenry Team
love these pots. They are sleek and lovely. Looks great in my background on zoom with some flowers inside!
These vases are absolutely gorgeous.
Nice product but feels like something you could find for about half the price at west elm
The matte black is really, really pretty. It looks great, feels great. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting another one!!!
