Handwoven in Mexico by
Bold design and rich indigo hues update this traditional Zapotec pattern for the modern home.
To create this striking palette, weavers mix indigo plants and use water to dilute the tints until they get the color just right for the various shades.
Handwoven using sheep’s wool, each one is made by a cooperative of 14 Zapotec women who live and work in Oaxaca. From start to finish, it takes three days to complete, all made in a fair trade environment.
