Engobe Vessel - Tall
Earthy terracotta hue. Modern, understated design. This striking accent piece is the perfect punctuation to any tablescape or bookshelf.
Handcrafted by a family-run workshop in Mexico City, each vessel takes a week to complete. All made exclusively in a fair trade environment.
NOTE: This beauty is made from a proprietary mixture of Jiutepec clay and high temperature stoneware that took years to perfect. The end result is a textured finish that is not only stunning but also less delicate than traditional terracotta. Best to style as a dry vase (or use a coaster) to guard against condensation.

It was the size I expected, a little bit thinner and lighter and the texture was slightly rougher than anticipated. Overall, still very functional and beautiful.
I love the look of this vessel. Great lines. I use it for wooden spoons by my stove. It is too porous to hold water.
