Add an artful touch to any space with this stunning handwoven kilim rug. The deep navy tones are perfectly woven in a traditional Turkish design — each done entirely by hand, so no two rugs are exactly alike. The result is a beautifully modern rug that adds depth and a well-traveled appeal to your home.
Handwoven by a collective of 200 artisans in Turkey, each rug takes two weavers up to three months to make. All made start to finish in a fair trade working environment.
We recommend using a rug pad to reduce wrinkles and slippage. Since each rug is handwoven, each piece is truly one of a kind. Please expect some variation in size.

Our rugs are handcrafted to last a lifetime, made using the highest quality natural fibers – no synthetic materials like viscose, rayon, or polyester are used.
Basic care:
Because each rug is handcrafted with only natural materials, it is normal to see loose fibers or shedding in the first six months.
Vacuum lightly at least once a week using only low suction and no beater brush, as this may damage the rug. More frequent vacuuming will help prevent shedding.
Avoid placing rugs in prolonged direct sunlight as this can cause fading.
Rotate your rug every 3-6 months. This will help prevent excessive wear and fading in one area.
The use of a rug pad will keep your rug lying smooth and flat and will help prevent slippage.
Treating stains:
Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth - act quickly to prevent drying. Avoid harsh chemicals and household cleaners as they may damage or fade the rug. When in doubt, professional cleaning is always best.

Had lusted after this gorgeous colored rug since first available. Finally broke down and ordered. Was disappointed to see major gaps in the weaving, spaces which allowed light through between the various patterns. Hoping this is just a one-off. Customer Service was great in handling the situation.
