Traditional Indian motifs in a rich of palette of navy, blush, maroon, and subtle pops of peach, this show-stopping area rug is a work of art. Meticulously handwoven from the highest quality sheep’s wool, this woven masterpiece is as durable as it is stunning.
Each rug is dyed and handwoven by master artisans in Bhadohi, India. From start-to-finish, it takes 5 days to complete, all made in a fair trade environment.
We recommend using a rug pad to reduce wrinkles and slippage.

Our rugs are handcrafted to last a lifetime, made using the highest quality natural fibers – no synthetic materials like viscose, rayon, or polyester are used.
Basic care:
Because each rug is handcrafted with only natural materials, it is normal to see loose fibers or shedding in the first six months.
Vacuum lightly at least once a week using only low suction and no beater brush, as this may damage the rug. More frequent vacuuming will help prevent shedding.
Avoid placing rugs in prolonged direct sunlight as this can cause fading.
Rotate your rug every 3-6 months. This will help prevent excessive wear and fading in one area.
The use of a rug pad will keep your rug lying smooth and flat and will help prevent slippage.
Treating stains:
Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth - act quickly to prevent drying. Avoid harsh chemicals and household cleaners as they may damage or fade the rug. When in doubt, professional cleaning is always best.

This rug is a beautiful piece of artwork and is sold nearly as depicted on the website. It is a thin rug so I suggest putting a rug pad underneath to make it feel a bit more plush. The material seems durable. My one complaint is that the colors of the rug are not as vibrant and rich as depicted in the photos on the website. But given the other reviews, I expected as much. It’s still a gorgeous addition to a home.

This rug is just gorgeous and appears to be very well made. The blue is almost black in low-light, but it's a very rich blue in daylight, which I really enjoy. Being a flatweave, you'll definitely want a rug pad, and it's a bit scratchy, which, to me, is part of the textured charm. Something to keep in mind, though. Shipping was fast and easy.

My first order from here was amazing. I loved the rug I ordered, it appeared unbelievably quick and exceeded my expectations. My second order however... I emailed back and forth with customer service which wasn’t pleasant, they sent mismatched replies that weren’t met for me, told me my shipment would be expediated... all that and the shipment arrived late, the rug I ordered was a bundled mess sadly thrown in a box like an old sack of potatoes and the quality wasn’t what I was expected. Be careful friends - it’s really a hit or miss with quality, shipping and customer service here.

This rug is beautiful! When the box arrived I was a little surprised wondering how an 8x10 ft rug could fit in it. But unfolding it confirmed I'd made the right decision. It feels great underfoot and the colors are deep and rich. We purchased this as part of a mini living room makeover. It's incredible what a difference this rug makes in our space.
