Traditional Indian motifs in a rich palette of navy, blush, maroon, and subtle pops of peach, this show-stopping runner is a work of art. Meticulously handwoven from the highest quality sheep’s wool, this woven masterpiece is as durable as it is stunning.
Each rug is handwoven by 14 master artisans in Bhadohi, India. From start-to-finish, it takes five days to complete, all made in a fair trade environment.
We recommend using a rug pad to reduce wrinkles and slippage.

Our rugs are handcrafted to last a lifetime, made using the highest quality natural fibers – no synthetic materials like viscose, rayon, or polyester are used.
Basic care:
Because each rug is handcrafted with only natural materials, it is normal to see loose fibers or shedding in the first six months.
Vacuum lightly at least once a week using only low suction and no beater brush, as this may damage the rug. More frequent vacuuming will help prevent shedding.
Avoid placing rugs in prolonged direct sunlight as this can cause fading.
Rotate your rug every 3-6 months. This will help prevent excessive wear and fading in one area.
The use of a rug pad will keep your rug lying smooth and flat and will help prevent slippage.
Treating stains:
Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth - act quickly to prevent drying. Avoid harsh chemicals and household cleaners as they may damage or fade the rug. When in doubt, professional cleaning is always best.

I love this handmade rug. There is another review that mentions quality of this piece--I disagree with that review--the rug seems to be of high quality to me. It reminds me a bit of kilim. I'm really grateful (and somewhat amazed) to have something that was made fairly by artisans over 5 days and sent from halfway around the world. The color looks more rich than most of the other photos--it most closely resembles the picture with two large black pained windows and cement floor.

I’m obsessed with this runner. I wanted to pull in slightly western vibes, but I didn’t want that over exaggerated red/black/brown. It’s located in out mud room and is holding up great!

This rug is so beautiful. The colors are really nice and muted but the rosey/tan tone has just enough pop that it still makes a statement which is exactly what I was hoping for. It's got a nice texture but is still quite soft for this type of rug. Personally I'm using it in an area that gets less consistent foot traffic hoping that it will last me many many many years because I love it so much.

I love the colors in this rug but was a little disappointed that so much white was showing through what I expected to be solid areas of blues and reds. I realize this is a characteristic of the weave but that combined with the ‘American southwest’ design element makes this not quite the runner for me.
