I ordered these towels as an alternate option until the Imabari towels are in stock again. I didn’t think these towels would be absorbent because of how thin and light they are but I was surprised, I like them a lot and they will be perfect for spring and summer time.

From the moment I first ordered the Imabari waffle towels I fell in love and look forward to using them after a bath or shower. These Mara towels are lighter and have a different feel, but I love them equally. So soft, beautiful colors and so pleasant to use.

I really like how they are oversized, and very soft to the touch, but as far as waffle towels go, they are the thinnest ones I’ve ever seen. If you are looking at buying these because Citizenry is eternally out of stock of the Imabari towels, you will most likely be disappointed.
