Temuco Accent Rug - Black - 4' x 6'

Free U.S. Shipping & Returns

Minimal stripes meet bold Mapuche designs, this traditional frazada-style rug is a favorite of, well, pretty much everyone here at The Citizenry. The best part? With its super soft feel and flat weave construction, this accent rug can double as an extra thick blanket.

Meticulously handwoven by a group of 13 master weavers in Araucania, Chile, each rug takes about two weeks to complete. All made start-to-finish in a fair trade environment.

We recommend using a rug pad when styling this as a rug. This will keep the rug in place, reducing wrinkles and slippage.

More than just a rug... really

I don’t think I noticed in the fine print of this product’s description that it could also be used as a heavy blanket. When my rug arrived it was so soft compared to the usual kilim. So far it has been at the foot of my bed and it currently resides on my sofa being used everyday and still looks and feels brand new... maybe someday I’ll use it as officially intended ;-)

So elegant yet understated. Impeccable craftsmanship. So worth the price!
