Tikal Wood Serving Bowl
Clean lines, modern pedestal base, and three of the most beautiful woods we’ve ever seen. These serving bowls are the definition of versatility, perfect as a styling or serving piece. Beyond the design, the grain of each of the woods is what makes these bowls truly stand out – the grain is super rich, just as the makers intended so as to showcase the beauty of the native Guatemalan woods.
Handmade by a group of artisans in the Petén Jungle of Guatemala, each piece is made from sustainably sourced wood that’s certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). All made start to finish in a fair-trade working environment.
We recommend mixing and matching sizes to style as a set of two (or three).

Mahogany & Granadillo: Hand wash with warm water and soap. Dry immediately. To maintain the natural luster of the wood, condition occasionally with a food-safe oil such as coconut oil.

In love!
The quality far exceeded expectations. Beautifully finished. Bought 2 medium Tikal Wood Bowls and look for to buying large bowls as soon as they are available.

Wood bowls
These bowls are beautiful. Especially the largest one. The bleached wood color shows off the grain of the wood and creates a natural fresh vibe.

Perfect match to my grandpa’s antique bar.
I have waited for a while for this beautiful mahogany bowl to be available and the wait was well worth it. I just throw random things that’s causing the clutter in my apartment. It’s a temporary place for things before they need to be put away, and I never knew that helps my sanity! It even feels like a perfect match to my grandpa’s antique bar that has a charm of craftsmanship from 40s. Glad to have got it. Thank you.

Excellent response from customer service!
Bought a vase and large bowl- both pieces are solid, and stunning!

Beautiful but color isn’t accurate
I purchased both the granadillo and the white cedar bowls. They’re both beautifully made and spin so smoothly I almost thought they had a plate spinning them. The granadillo bowl isn’t as dark as these pictures, it’s actually closer in color to the mahogany, which is disappointing. I’ve had this issue with a few items from The Citizenry where the photos seem to depict colors sightly differently and it’s a little disappointing given the already long wait times to get most products & the hassle to be able to exchange things since most things sell out or have long lead times by the time you get your item and notice the mismatch.

Mehh
Is it nice? Yes. Is it worth $95 for a small tiny bowl? No. That being said I didn’t spend a dime on it because I used the $100 credit that was given. I only purchased it because I had the credit and it was going to expire.
