Handcrafted with vegetable-tanned cow leather ethically sourced from Alcanena, Portugal, a small town known as “The Land of Leather.” All made start-to-finish in a fair trade environment.

I think this piece wears well. Our dog lays on it daily and any marks if there are any add to the character (and I’m not laid back). The color is lighter than the image on the website but luckily I saw it in the New York store so I knew I wanted the darker one versus the lighter one. My heal does make a small dent but it comes back and doesn’t bother me at all. I hesitated a bit due to some of the reviews and the price but so glad I got this and think it will last forever. This was still showing sold out on the website but the store had one come in within a week so I lucked out - call the store maybe if you’re eager to get one!

I ordered the caramel color. With the exception of the color being lighter than pictured, I love the ottoman (only received one at this time. The other one got lost in shipping). It is well made and beautiful. Only wish it was a rich caramel color like pictured.
