Yoru Indigo Wall Hanging
The ancient technique of Japanese indigo dyeing is so artful, that we just had to make it into a wall hanging. Featuring a richly saturated indigo contrasted with a striking half moon outline, this piece brings a sense of calm and beauty anywhere you style it.
Hand-dyed from all-natural indigo plants using the Ita Jima (with wood plates) style by Chiharu, a master dyer in Oki City, each wall hanging is dip-dyed over four times to achieve these shades of indigo. From start-to-finish, it takes a day to complete, all made in a fair-trade environment.
Set includes:
- Indigo wall hanging
- Maple wood rug hanger
Note: Since this is a handcrafted item, each wall hanging is one-of-a-kind – expect variation in hues and patterns.

Fair Trade. Guaranteed. 100% of our products are made with a process guaranteed by the World Fair Trade Organization.
Never wash your wall hanging in a washing machine - this will cause the natural dyes to bleed and ruin the rich color of the fabric. Dry cleaning is the best option for removing stains or occasional cleaning.

Beautiful wall hanging
This is a very beautiful textile with gorgeous colors and detail. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the wood bar that holds up the fabric. For the cost, I thought that it would look more finished. But overall, I’m happy with it. And it looks pretty in my dining room.

Gorgeous
This was my partner’s birthday present. She was so happy to open it; I loved watching her face as she unfurled it.

More Art, Less Decor
True indigo tapestries are rare, especially those with a unique aesthetic. These being hand-dyed, the result for each is one of a kind. A special piece, which I'm happy and proud to own.
