Agustin Handwoven Accent Rug
Soft, extra durable sheep’s wool. Unexpected design. This accent rug is a welcome addition to any space. Taking a cue from architectural details throughout Oaxaca, it adds a just-right amount of visual interest. Handwoven in a flatweave construction, this rug is incredibly soft and also long-lasting – perfect for high traffic areas (read: so you can show it off).
From start-to-finish, each one takes a full week to complete, all made by a fair trade cooperative of master weavers who live and work in Oaxaca.
We recommend a rug pad to reduce wrinkles and slippage.

We hung this on a wall to give just enough visual interest and neutral hues to a space. Love the colors, and the design. Well made, true to color in photos, and came quickly. Already got compliments on it when it appeared in the background of a Zoom call!

These arrived quickly which was nice. But for the amount charged for this rug, I was disappointed in the quality of rug upon arrival. I was looking forward to hanging from our walls, but one of the rugs came slightly dirty/scuffed in one section. More importantly, they both arrived in the box folded rather than rolled and as such had permanent creases that I couldn't get out after nearly two weeks of rolling the rugs and trying to get the creases out. Was excited about these rugs but will be returning and not purchasing rugs from the Citizenry again until they change the way they store/ship their rugs.
