A master craftsman whose art for timber selection almost rivals his famous woodworking skills, he can trace each one of designs back to the forest. Just by tapping on a tree, he identifies which trunk will yield the richest pattern and coloring. It’s this attention to detail and love for the craft that come through in his masterpieces.
