Take one look from the window above Chaïm’s workbench, and you’ll see where he gets the inspiration for his brilliant creations. His studio sits right in the heart of County Wicklow, a region whose rolling green hills, towering trees, and abundant wildflowers have earned its title as the “Garden of Ireland.”
A master craftsman whose art for timber selection almost rivals his famous woodworking skills, he can trace each one of designs back to the forest. Just by tapping on a tree, he identifies which trunk will yield the richest pattern and coloring. It’s this attention to detail and love for the craft that come through in his masterpieces.
His talent and artistry has been recognized throughout Ireland, where his work can be found in famous museums, colleges, and churches across the country. He now uses his incredible skill to bring a bit of artistry to the everyday, with his “Design Elegance for Foodies” collection of wood serving pieces.
