Tell us a little about yourself.

I'm a designer that thrives on creativity by forming aesthetically pleasing spaces and elevated DIY furniture pieces that also serve as functional living.

How would you describe your personal design style?

A blend of Mid Century Modern and Traditional. My designs include curation of multiple layers, textures, and shapes. My visions are a collection of old and new - everything between vintage finds to high-end style to handmade pieces.

What has influenced your design style?

Organic materials, shapes and neutral (yet bold) colors in nature.

What is your process when designing a space?

I start with something I love and bounce off that. I put into consideration how each piece functions and what textures and feelings every design choice I make evokes.

What design trend do you see coming back this year?

Deep, rich woods, warmer tones, and wainscoting are making a huge comeback in 2023. People are searching for more sustainable, higher quality pieces and finishes for their designs as opposed to mass produced home decor - as well as furniture/lighting with more sculptural silhouettes. Fabrics with texture such as boucle and linen are also here to stay.

Any favorite special or meaningful decor pieces in your home?

Anything that was handmade by my fiance and me. We've created countless things in our home such as kitchen cabinetry, credenzas, coffee tables, pantry doors, desks, bed frames.

Which upcoming design projects for 2023 are you most excited about?

This year is all about putting my touch on the spaces that my family and I utilize the least - to become spaces that we desire to be in all the time. Our family room is high on that list!
