Woodworkers of Bhandu
Employs 1000 Artisans
"We are inspired by Indian villages and believe in sustainability in all our designs."
- Radhika

A stone’s throw away from the palaces, forts, and temples of Jodhpur, India, this workshop has been able to master so many intricate techniques and natural materials, including wood, marble, jute, cotton, and so much more. Blending a respect for traditional design with a love of experimentation, the sheer number of their artisans has allowed them to explore new possibilities.

Whether it’s carving, cladding, or stone work, these versatile artisans put quality at the heart of every piece. It’s the women in this workshop especially who work together to streamline the process, designing new products with the highest quality materials.

A proud fair trade working environment, this bustling workshop supports local artisans in their community, many of whom travel in from just outside the city for work each morning. It’s a privilege to play a small role in bringing the work of these incredible craftspeople to a global audience.
