Hand carved from rich Mugavu wood, this planter is a sculptural work of art. Paired with a tiny cactus or air plant, it makes the perfect accent for your desk or shelf.
Each piece is handcrafted by a group of 15 woodworkers in the Nakawa region of Uganda, made exclusively in a fair trade environment. In the spirit of sustainability, the cooperative replants trees to replenish this precious resource for future generations.

Prolonged contact with water will cause the Adia Planter to crack, so we always recommend using a liner pot with live plants or cut greenery to keep your Adia looking perfect.

Often when you buy things online, it still temains a surprise to how the product will actually look or be. These planters are more beautiful then we expected, the wood is truly beautiful, and so is the touch. I really felt the handmade beauty of them.
I bought this for a very hard to buy for co worker. It arrived very timely and when I opened it I was very satisfied. It was a nice weight and beautiful. I was proud to give as a gift and the recipient liked it. I think they were going to use as a candle holder instead of a planter.
This piece connects all my living room materials. I love the texture of the wood and its pattern!
