Artha Hand-Knotted Striped Accent Rug
A thick, high-pile accent rug that can tie a room together and also make a big statement on its own, this one is an effortless showpiece. With an intricately handwoven stripe design that’s done entirely by hand, no two are alike – adding to the uniqueness of the design.
Each rug is handwoven using the finest sheep’s wool. All made start-to-finish in a fair trade workshop in Bhadohi, India.

Our rugs are handcrafted to last a lifetime, made using the highest quality natural fibers – no synthetic materials like viscose, rayon, or polyester are used.
Basic care:
Because each rug is handcrafted with only natural materials and hand-trimmed to the desired pile height, it is normal to see loose fibers or shedding in the first six months.
Vacuum lightly at least once a week using only low suction and no beater brush, as this may damage the rug. More frequent vacuuming will help prevent shedding.
Avoid placing rugs in prolonged direct sunlight as this can cause fading.
Rotate your rug every 3-6 months. This will help prevent excessive wear and fading in one area.
The use of a rug pad will keep your rug lying smooth and flat and will help prevent slippage.
Treating stains:
Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth - act quickly to prevent drying. Avoid harsh chemicals and household cleaners as they may damage or fade the rug. When in doubt, professional cleaning is always best.

$25 for most other returned orders

The online image of this rug is completely different from the actual rug. It’s somewhat of a muddled color in real life. Sadly, I had to return.

Great quality rug (and pad)! This rug has not shed (like the previous 2 we’ve bought). It’s tightly woven & a delight to step on with bare feet. Love the dark blue. It’s a modern neutral with a nice snap of texture & visual interest with the subtle white design.
