Handwoven by master artisans in a quiet mountain village in the Peruvian Andes, each bed blanket takes about a week to complete. All made exclusively in a fair trade environment.
Note: Alpaca wool is hypoallergenic, so this throw is ideal for those with allergies or sensitive skin.

This started out as a beautiful blanket, and I absolutely love the weight and warmth. But it sheds balls of yarn EVERYWHERE, and nothing we can do seems to contain it. It gets stuck on everything and white balls of fuzz are all over our house. I haven't had this problem with any of my other citizenry blankets, and I'm sad to say I can't endorse this product, especially for the price.
