Handwoven in Mexico by
Inspired by the laid-back, hacienda culture of the Yucatan peninsula, this woven masterpiece will add some serious lounge appeal to your home. Hang it in your living room or take it outside – wherever you put it, it’s sure to bring a little more relaxation to your everyday.
This hammock is larger than a king-sized bed and takes over eight days to hand-weave. Each row is secured with 50 stitches to create a durable and lasting bed. So you can rest easy – this beauty will have your back for years to come.
Using 100% cotton from a local market, this piece was crafted by a group of nine artisans in the Yucatan. All made exclusively in a fair trade environment.

Braving the elements: Try not to leave your hammock outside when it’s raining, snowing, or sleeting – a good rule of thumb would be to bring it inside with any sort of precipitation. Also, be careful not to snag the hammock with any sharp objects, hooks, jewelry, buttons, etc.
Keeping it clean: If needed, you can soak it in lukewarm water and mild detergent, making sure to leave the fringe and handles out. Just let it hang to dry.
Storing it: Store your hammock in a dry place with the arms separated from each other. Do not store wet.
