It's very soft and light. It's everything I wanted. I sleep hot and this is perfect for a light covering. Currently it's over a down comforter, but very soon I'll be using it only over my top sheet.

Honestly, this blanket is beautiful. However, upon receipt I noticed it didn’t quite cover as much of my queen size bed as I was hoping (the photo shows a lovely drape). I decided to keep it though and washed it according to care instructions (machine wash cold, tumble dry low). Sadly, the blanket shrunk even more than it’s already too small dimensions. I’m now stuck with an awkwardly sized $200 blanket. Bummer - I have several other pieces from the Citizenry that lived up to my expectations, but this blanket does not.
