Buenos Aires is a collective canvas: its streets brimming with a myriad of styles, subjects, and ideas. By designing playful artwork in unexpected places, Argentine street artists simultaneously delight bystanders and encourage locals to take more pride in their neighborhood. To the artists, street art is not only means of personal expression, but also a catalyst for social change.
We couldn’t pass up the chance to introduce this avant-garde culture into our more traditional Argentine collection. We were over-the-moon thrilled when Fede, the leader of rundontwalk - a leading Buenos Aires collective, agreed to paint a mural with us. He knew the perfect place to bring this idea to fruition: a heavily trafficked street near the seat of Argentina’s Congress. He dreamt up a fantastical scene: two playful children riding a ferocious tiger toward the unknown and set to work. We’ve since partnered with Fede to create an exclusive set of hand-finished prints–all featuring the clever, playful subjects that have made this group so iconic.
