Our linen is machine washable. Wash on the gentle cycle with like colors and using a mild, liquid laundry detergent. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low heat, and remove promptly. We recommend using Wool Dryer Balls instead of dryer sheets to reduce waste and increase fluffiness.
Linen naturally has a more relaxed look that does not require ironing. However, if you would like more structure - iron with warm heat on the milder “linen” setting.

These sheets are very soft. They feel cool to the touch yet are not crisp, but I believe that is the nature of linen. The current color has a brown tone to it, a berry color mixed with brown. I have washed the sheets twice and they do shed lint in the dryer but I do believe that will stop soon. The pillowcases have an extra flap to cover the the end of the pillow.

I got the blue stonewash French linen sheet set. I absolutely love it! Makes my bed look so comfy and very hip! I do recommend you was them before you use them as they run big in size. Once washed and dried they fit perfect!

I am obsessed. We owned one other set of linen sheets before these (which I also did love) and when we had to replace our sheets it lined up with a citizenry sale so I decided to give them a try. First off, I will never go back to sheets other than linen. Second, the citizenry sheets are so soft I can’t get over it. The are the perfect sheets for both summer and winter. They never feel too hot or too cold. I am absolutely convinced that linen is the perfect material for sheets to be made from and I am SO happy with these.
