Mawa Bowl
Woven together with leaves from local palm trees, these bowls are a natural work of art. Coiled ridges wind their way around each row to create a rugged, natural texture like no other. A perfect balance of form and function, they’re a great place to store towels, books, fruit, or anything else.
Handwoven by artisans in Malawi, each bowl takes up to five days to complete. All made start-to-finish in a fair trade environment. Since each bowl is handwoven, each piece is truly one of a kind. Please expect some variation in size and shape.

This a beautiful oversized basket that I use for shoes at my front door. It has plenty of room for several pairs of shoes and a high side so they are not readily seen. I like that there is no lid so there is easy access to the shoes. It also makes me happy that it is assisting an artisan with income.

I purchased this bowl in both sizes, small and large and so happy I did as they are such high quality and it shows. I use them to store baby swaddles and washcloths. Needless to say, they elevate the space with their beautifully crafted look.
