What started off as a simple search to find cleaner, safer textiles for their children turned into something so much bigger for Mami and Takeshi – the husband and wife duo behind this design studio. Based in Tajimi, this workshop was born from the belief that we and our families deserve better products in our homes. Something we know and fully believe in, too.

They not only draw inspiration from family, but the rich culture of Japan itself. They source the finest materials from all over the country – careful that none of it goes to waste – and infuse a modern practicality into every aspect of their design.

To say they take what they do seriously would be an understatement. Between the clean, organic nature of their beautiful textiles and the towels they created for us, we’d say their approach is working in spades.
