Adra Handwoven Accent Rug
Modern monochrome meets luxurious texture in this handwoven wool rug. Made using the finest quality sheep’s wool, this rug is durable, subtly stunning, and makes itself at home anywhere you style it (read: anywhere you want to up the cozy factor).
Each rug is handwoven by 14 master artisans in Bhadohi, India. From start-to-finish, it takes five days to complete, all made in a fair trade environment.
We recommend using a rug pad to reduce wrinkles and slippage.
Note: To make the 2’x3’ or 3’x5’ rug a wall hanging, add our custom maple wood wall hanger.

Our rugs are handcrafted to last a lifetime, made using the highest quality natural fibers – no synthetic materials like viscose, rayon, or polyester are used.
Basic care:
Because each rug is handcrafted with only natural materials and hand-trimmed to the desired pile height, it is normal to see loose fibers or shedding in the first six months.
Vacuum lightly at least once a week using only low suction and no beater brush, as this may damage the rug. More frequent vacuuming will help prevent shedding.
Avoid placing rugs in prolonged direct sunlight as this can cause fading.
Rotate your rug every 3-6 months. This will help prevent excessive wear and fading in one area.
The use of a rug pad will keep your rug lying smooth and flat and will help prevent slippage.
Treating stains:
Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth - act quickly to prevent drying. Avoid harsh chemicals and household cleaners as they may damage or fade the rug. When in doubt, professional cleaning is always best.

The pic of the area rug Adra on your web showed one of the color selections to be a dark blue Both rugs area blackish color Secondly the border trim around the rectangular rug inserts have the white material show thru, which gives appearance of an old rung and does not look well Had 2 neighbor house holds over for cocktails and when asked what color the the rugs all four said black go well the raised black inserts.

I love the feel of this rug. I was expecting a darkest blue. Not close. Definitely black. With eyes closed, it is wonderful. Black will work. Just not plan A.
