Cantaro Pots - Multiple Sizes
Crafted from burnished clay and finished with a black steel base, these sleek planters double as sculptural art pieces. Their clean, modern lines instantly upgrade any corner’s botanical game. Available in two colors: terracotta and matte black.
Meticulously handcrafted by master artisans in Jalisco, Mexico, each one takes three weeks to complete. All made start-to-finish in a fair trade environment.
Note: These planters can be used both indoors and outdoors. Since this is an all-natural product, the finish will fade over time – exposure to sun and water will speed up that process.

Made with higher standards. We preserve artisan craft by paying wages that average 2x the fair trade requirement.
This planter can be used both indoors and outdoors. Part of the beauty of this all-natural material is that the clay will fade and change over time – exposure to sun and humidity will speed up that process. To slow the aging process and minimize reaction to humidity, we recommend using a pot liner to keep soil from making direct contact with the clay.
This planter has a drainage hole at the bottom. When styling indoors, we recommend using a saucer to catch any water.
For cleaning, wipe with a dry, non-abrasive cloth to remove dust and light debris. If necessary, use mild soap and water - no harsh chemicals here!

Exactly as advertised. This planter is a beautiful mix of artisanal craft and sleek modernism.

Well, I am anxiously awaiting my replacement pot because the first one arrived very broken. It is taking a while to get the new one.
Thank you for your note, although we’re so very sorry to hear that your Cantaro Pot arrived this way. That is certainly not the experience we work to create, and we know how disappointing that can be. We understand that your replacement should have arrived a few weeks ago. We hope you are delighted with your purchase. As a thank you for your patience, we’re sending a small thank you to your inbox. Hopefully you’ll be able to find something equally as beautiful to fill your space until your new pot arrives. Sincerely, The Citizenry Team

It’s a beautiful high quality piece of art for my living room. I ordered the smaller size which fits my blooming cactus perfectly. It was a bit pricey but I’m extremely happy I ordered it. I’m currently on the waitlist for the stump end table. This company is my new favorite!
Colleen, What kind words! Thank you so much for taking the time to write this note — it means the world to us. We’re thrilled to hear our planter has found such a loving, intentional home. We’ll be sure to let you know the moment the end table is back! Right now, it’s looking like we’re expecting a mid December arrival. Cheers! With gratitude, The Citizenry Team

I think my planters are finely crafted and I’m very happy. Iwould like to offer a suggestion to the reviewer who commented on the curved bottom and wondered how another pot will fit in it. My solution : First I put a coffee filter over the hole, then filled the bottom of the pot with aquarium gravel that I bought at Petco so that I had I nice flat base for the inner pot to rest on. Works great.

I just received my planters and they are very striking. Perfectly proportioned and the contrast of Matt clay to metal is artful. I can’t wait to put some cactus in them. The planters were packaged extremely well but the packaging of the metal holders was insufficient, so that the legs were poking through the box. Luckily they were not damaged. This was an expensive purchase for planters but they are uniquely beautiful, therefore worth it to me. I would recommend purchasing any item from this seller, as everything I have purchased thus far has been quality.
