Bold design. Natural style. Dried jute fibers are spun together to create the bold horizontal stripes of this seamless area rug. A bit heavier than traditional jute rugs, this durable option is a great choice for high-traffic areas in your home. Not to mention it's easy on the eyes.
Handwoven by a collective of 200 weavers in Panipat, one of India's historic hubs for rug making, each one takes days to complete. Every rug is Oeko-Tex® certified and made sustainably in a fair trade environment.
We recommend using a RUG PAD to prevent wrinkles and slippage.

NOTE: This rug is a high-pile rug, with a 3/4" pile height. Be sure to measure for door clearance. Returns of rugs not delivered via white-glove will incur a $65 refund fee, due to the size of the item. Returns for store credit are always free, except for rugs delivered via white glove which will have a restocking fee of 15% applied.

Our rugs are handcrafted to last a lifetime, made using the highest quality natural fibers – no synthetic materials like viscose, rayon, or polyester are used.
Basic care:
Because each rug is handcrafted with only natural materials, it is normal to see loose fibers or shedding in the first six months.
Vacuum lightly at least once weekly using only low suction and no beater brush, as this may damage the rug. More frequent vacuuming will help prevent shedding.
Avoid placing rugs in prolonged direct sunlight as this can cause fading.
Rotate your rug every 3-6 months. This will help prevent excessive wear and fading in one area.
The use of a rug pad will keep your rug lying smooth and flat and will help prevent slippage.
Treating stains:
For jute rugs, do not use liquids for stain treatment – liquids will damage and discolor the natural fibers. Instead, use a dry rug shampoo or baking soda. Sprinkle the dry shampoo on the rug and allow it to sit for a couple of hours. Vacuum up the dry shampoo and flip the rug over to repeat on the other side. When in doubt, professional cleaning is always best.

This rug looks nice at first but it’s very thick so we trip on it a lot and the bigger problem is that it started fraying immediately!

In-stock items are expected to be delivered within 4-6 weeks from your order. Delivery timelines for custom furniture may vary.
