Featuring a striking palette of rich indigo and navy, this area rug can’t help but turn heads. Handwoven from the highest quality sheep’s wool, a material known for its durability, this rug is made to withstand it all.
Each rug is handwoven by 14 master weavers in Bhadohi, India. From start-to-finish, each rug takes 5 full days to complete. All made in a fair trade environment.
We recommend using a rug pad to reduce wrinkles and slippage.

Our rugs are handcrafted to last a lifetime, made using the highest quality natural fibers – no synthetic materials like viscose, rayon, or polyester are used.
Basic care:
Because each rug is handcrafted with only natural materials, it is normal to see loose fibers or shedding in the first six months.
Vacuum lightly at least once a week using only low suction and no beater brush, as this may damage the rug. More frequent vacuuming will help prevent shedding.
Avoid placing rugs in prolonged direct sunlight as this can cause fading.
Rotate your rug every 3-6 months. This will help prevent excessive wear and fading in one area.
The use of a rug pad will keep your rug lying smooth and flat and will help prevent slippage.
Treating stains:
Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth - act quickly to prevent drying. Avoid harsh chemicals and household cleaners as they may damage or fade the rug. When in doubt, professional cleaning is always best.

We are in love with the Sundari Area Rug. The textile is gorgeous in person. It’s very thin, so a rug pad will be needed to keep it from slipping around. Would definitely recommend.

This rug is absolutely beautiful. The blues are so well done it translates as a neutral. It’s a wool rug-so not soft-and needs a rug pad. Also-because its a flat weave rug the return shipping is free if you don’t like it. But don’t worry, you’ll love it.

This is exactly what I needed. The colors turned out pretty close to the picture and the size was 100% correct. Also very happy that the corners don't curl like with my other rug. It dresses up the room very nicely. The rug was dirty when it was unpacked (dust and little green plastic pieces like from a fake Christmas tree) and had a pin in it that could have been harmful if I had pets/kids but a thorough hovering and the rug was perfect.

This beautiful rug from India somehow becomes a wonderful anchor to a Southwestern space. I enjoy walking barefoot on the rug that is not scratchy and provides a warm base from the concrete floor. I would give this rug five stars on most things except the color. The website implies that you will be receiving a "blue" rug. I would say that the rug is mostly gray and white with a blue border. I would just adjust expectations there.
