Hand carved by a group of artisans in the Petén Jungle of Guatemala, each piece is made from sustainably sourced wood that’s certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). All made start to finish in a fair trade working environment.

First time I ordered this tray and board… when I received them, both were cracked!! Returned them and reordered another tray and board… AGAIN when I received them , they were cracked !!! This products need to be checked before shipped and they need to be wrapped and packaged differently to prevent damage during transit!!

United StatesWhile I love the idea of these trays and they are stunning, the trays I received were bowed such that they wobbled when placed on a flat surface. This makes it challenging for use for holding items such as drinks. I submitted a request for an exchange and the replacement tray was also bowed (although less severely). It was unfortunate -- these were for gifts and I considered returning the replacement tray, but ultimately my mom decided to keep it but added felt underneath to stabilize the tray. I love all other Citizenry products that I've ordered, but this was as disappointing given the intended use.
