Crafted from 100% organic cotton in the Aegean region of Turkey, each towel is Oeko-Tex® and Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified. Each towel is made in a fair trade working environment.

    Prefer a refund? A single re-stocking fee will apply to returns within 30 days:
    $0 (no fee) for just bedding and/or towels
    $25 for most other returned orders
    $65     if your return includes oversized items (area rugs, furniture, mirrors)

    White glove delivery items are handled separately and have a 15% re-stocking fee.

Great Towels

I ordered these towels as an alternate option until the Imabari towels are in stock again. I didn’t think these towels would be absorbent because of how thin and light they are but I was surprised, I like them a lot and they will be perfect for spring and summer time.

These towels are truly one of my favorite things

From the moment I first ordered the Imabari waffle towels I fell in love and look forward to using them after a bath or shower. These Mara towels are lighter and have a different feel, but I love them equally. So soft, beautiful colors and so pleasant to use.

Large and soft, but a bit too thin.

I really like how they are oversized, and very soft to the touch, but as far as waffle towels go, they are the thinnest ones I’ve ever seen. If you are looking at buying these because Citizenry is eternally out of stock of the Imabari towels, you will most likely be disappointed.

Disappointed

I don’t typically leave reviews but I would have wanted to know this information before I purchased these towels. I ordered them towels based on the reviews. However I was quite disappointed with the absorption. People say they are absorbent but I find that my body is still damp. This is ok if you live in Hawaii but not for the PWN. I would return them if I could. They are way too expensive for them to leave your body damp. The other thing is they are beautiful out of the box but once washed, they lose their shine and look worn. The only consistency with the other reviews is their softness. They are very soft.
