High quality leather, beautifully done, instructions not so much LOL

I purchased the butterfly chair in cognac leather, and yes, the instructions and the logistics of putting it together were challenging, and I am good at this sort of thing, really good. So understand the frustration. But assembled it is beautiful and I have received many compliments on it. So, today I purchased the Palermo Butterfly Chair in light gray cowhide, with confidence that it will be beautiful as well. Highly recommend!

Great looking chair

Great chair, soft leather. The feedback on installation is true - a bit of puzzle-piecing. But once assembled it looks great and is a sturdy chair

Chair is great! Assembly a major pain.

The various components/legs were mislabeled and I was about to send it back. Out of desperation, I laid out the pieces and labeled them according to the diagram. Once I did that the chair went together fairly quickly. Double check the labels and save yourself major frustration.

Nice materials, difficult to assemble, angle of the chair makes it very uncomfortable - you are tilted back with not head or neck support.

Impossible to assemble!!

I can't believe I just paid $700 for a chair that has the worst assembly instructions I've ever seen! No parts are labelled and the diagram on the product page is not helpful at all. I'm just guessing what goes where, but after an hour, I GIVE UP. I am beyond frustrated!!

The Citizenry

Hi Kathleen, We're so sorry to hear about your frustrating experience! We know your time is valuable, and we can't apologize enough for taking up so much of it with assembly attempts. Since we know this chair is a tricky one to put together, each item is labeled and packaged with step-by-step assembly instructions. It sounds like that was not the case, so we have followed up with our teams to triple check this is included going forward. As a gift for your troubles, we will be sending a little gift to your inbox – it's the least we can do. Again, thank you for taking the time to send us feedback! Sincerely, The Citizenry Team
