Our trip to Uganda was one for the books. Seven days worth of road tripping with Rose & Fitzgerald in “Rosie” the Land Rover across orange dirt roads, fields of zebras, and endless horizons left us with a deep appreciation for this country.

From Kampala to Fort Portal to Bombo and back - we covered a lot of ground visiting all of the artisans who came together to create this collection. With each new village, we fell in love with its people, their craft, and the scenery over and over again.  

Today, we are sharing a flashback of this magical place. Because it’s sleeting in Dallas right now, and we’re craving warmer days back back on those dusty open roads. Maybe next time we can pack you in our bags and take you with us. Until then, this little visual journey will have to do.
